Prof. Berruti to give a talk in Heriot-Watt University
Prof. Berruti, from Western Engineering in Ontario and member of Biochar Network, has been invited to give a talk on "Production Of Activated Carbons From Residual Biomass For Environmental Applications" at Heriot-Watt Univeristy in Edinburgh.
The talk will be held at 1:15 pm in room WP 1.10

The partners from the Institute for Chemical and Fuels from Alternative Resources (ICFAR), London, Ontario, Canada, presented a paper at the Green Process Engineering Conference in Seville, Spain.
UK and Canada strengthen their collaboration on biochar research
Current collaboration between the UK and Canada in the area of biochar as an effective way to capture CO2 has been strengthened by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Professor Raffaella Ocone at Heriot-Watt University (UK) and BioFuelNet Canada (BNF) and Bio-Char Network (Bio-Char) in Canada.
